These are educational rides that are perfect for those who are just getting into bicycle riding, or coming back to cycling after taking some time off. Cyclists of all abilities are welcome and invited to participate in our weekly rides; families are also encouraged to join us.

Every Tuesday – During Daylight Savings Time – Weather permitting |
HOW FAR? |
We will ride 6-10 miles, which should last about one and a half hours. |
HOW FAST? |
It is relatively slow, conversational pace with frequent stops for educational minutes and regroupings; no one will be left behind; this is not a training ride. |
START LOCATION? |
We will start and finish at cycles de ORO bike shop (with a treat at the finish!) |
WHERE DO WE RIDE? |
We will ride on bike trails, greenways, low-traffic streets, and utilize bike lanes where available. We try to ride to a different destination each week. We have have ridden on the Downtown Greenway, to the Greensboro Arboretum and Revolution Mills; through to campuses of A&T, UNC-G, and Bennett and Greensboro Colleges. WHAT EQUIPMENT IS NEEDED |
Any bicycle with some gears, a helmet, a water bottle, a front white light, a rear flashing red light, and a spare inner tube sized for your bike. |
